The Membership in the Academy of Sciences of Albania

The ASA has in its network members (Academicians) who are citizens of the Republic of Albania. The Academicians make up the Academic Senate, which exercises its competencies according to the Status of the ASA.

The Senate of the ASA is made up of not more than 45 members. The Senate elects itself the new members once in four years, when there are vacant seats in it.

Citizens of non-Albanian citizenship bur of Albanian nationality, can also be Foreign Members of the ASA.
