PHYLOLOGICAL STUDIES
The review Philological Studies is a three-monthly scientific
publication of the Institute of Linguistics and Literature of the
Academy of Sciences. Its publication started in 1964. Reports,
bibliographies and archival studies, biographies and other papers,
related to the Albanian linguistics and literature, written by
Albanian and foreign scholars, are published in it. You can find a
résumé in English and In French.

ILIRIA
Iliria is a annual scientific magazine of the Archaeological
Institute of the Academy of Sciences. The first edition was in
1971. The magazine comprises archaeological studies from the
Prehistoric, Antiquity and early Middle Age fields as well as
historical studies related to these fields. The articles are
either completely translated or in an English or French summary.
The Golden Medal was awarded by the International Academy of
Lute (France), in 1982.

The Albanian Journal of Natural and Technical Sciences (AJNTS) is

It is a scientific review which comprises Albanian ethnographic
studies. The first issue was published in 1980, twice a year plus
a selective number in French. A silver cup was awarded by the
International Academy of Lutece-Paris, in 1984. After 1991 this
review is published one number a year.

THE MAGAZINE OUR LANGUAGE (Gjuha Jonė).
The first issue of the magazine Our language (In Albanian Gjuha
Jonė), was published in Tirana in 1981. It is a scientific
publication of the Institute of Linguistics and Literature of the
Academy of Sciences. It is published four times a year. This
magazine is written in accessible, non-technical language, and
explores the many interconnections among language, culture, and
communicative meaning--using data from Albanian culture and
language. It examines the norms of language, the issues of
codification and other important problems relating to
socio-linguistics.

MATTERS OF THE ALBANIAN FOLKLORE
It is a publication of a special series (not periodical) of
summarized studies about the Albanian Folklore. It is a
contribution of two departments at the Institute of Folk Culture
in Tirana. Its first number was published in 1972. Seven numbers
are published till 2001.
The achievements in the field of the Albanian Folklore, analyses
and theoretical or practical conclusions concerning the Albanian
Folklore, are the main topics of this special issue. All the
articles and papers published, deal with the artistic form and
characteristic values, with developments and the relations between
Folklore and literature, etc.
